Hi, I'm Rachel Kizziah, and I teach English and communication courses. I graduated with my bachelor's degree in English from the University of Southern Indiana in 2009 and with my master's degree in English literary and cultural studies from Eastern Illinois University in 2021. I completed a certification in communication processes from Eastern Illinois University in 2022. This is my fourteenth year teaching at HCHS. I also sponsor book club, the senior class, and National Honor Society.

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, writing, riding ATVs, and watching TV and movies. My favorite book of all time is Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, and my current favorite TV shows are Married at First Sight and Survivor. I would love to learn how to make pottery and how to be a beekeeper!
