There is available funding for financial assistance with purchasing necessary items (clothing, shoes, toiletries, school supplies, etc) with the Extended Family Support Program with Egyptian Area Agency. Hardin County School 2025-2026 Online Registration begins today. School begins on Wednesday, August 13th. A prize drawing will be held for those who register by Tuesday, August 12th. Please call the office if you have any further questions or concerns regarding the online registration process. We look forward to seeing all our staff and students soon!
The junior high baseball tryouts for the 2025-2026 school year will be Tuesday, July 15th and Wednesday, July 16th at 6pm. Baseball pants are mandatory and a current sports physical must be on file.
A Junior High baseball open field will be held this Friday, June 20th, 4-6pm. Any student 5th through 8th grade is welcome to attend.
Due to the rain last night, today's high school sectional baseball game has been moved to SIU in Carbondale at 4pm.

Our Hardin County Cougar Baseball team won the regional championship on 5/24/25. They will play in the first round of sectionals on Wednesday, 5/28/25 against Waltonville at Cobden, IL at 4pm. The location for the games is: Cobden High School, 413 N. Appleknocker St, Cobden, IL 62920. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $7 at https://gofan.co/event/3605611?schoolId=IL21289 or $8 at the gate.

5/14/25: The boys high school baseball game scheduled today at Pope County will stay as scheduled. The girls softball game for today at Pope County has been canceled.
5/13/25: The high school boys baseball game scheduled for today at home is being played at SIC against Union County Kentucky.
Elementary award notification letters were sent out today with the students. Junior high and high school award notification letters will go out tomorrow with the students. Please ask your students if they received a letter so you will know the schedules for all three honor awards days.
