What an inspiring day! We want to give a massive shoutout and thank you to all the schools and businesses that participated in our career event today. Our high schoolers gained valuable insights and truly enjoyed learning about possible career paths. Their future is looking bright!
There is no school tomorrow, November 21. We are only in attendance on Monday and Tuesday of next week due to Thanksgiving break. Students will be dismissed at 2 PM on Tuesday, November 25th.
Reminder: Sports Pictures are tomorrow and every student-athlete in the following sports should bring their uniforms and gear with them to school. Junior High - Softball, Baseball, Cheer, Boys and Girls Basketball. High School - Golf, Volleyball, Boys and Girls Basketball
The Educators Rising Club had the opportunity to visit the City Museum today in St. Louis. This was made possible by SIFTC. The students learned about teaching outside of a classroom. Focusing on problem solving, spatial awareness, and different job opportunities related to education.

🍀Teen Teachers🍀Attended their second training today at Shawnee Community College. Their focus was on learning new material to bring back to teach to our elementary students, community service, and leadership skills.

CANCELLED: Our JH boys basketball game on Monday 11/10 has been cancelled.
Sports Pictures will be on Tuesday, November 18th. Athletes should bring all uniforms and/or gear to school on this day.
Look at this! This is what preparedness looks like. These high schoolers volunteered their time to master CPR and AED usage. Every minute counts in a cardiac emergency, and now they have the skills to make a difference. Huge shout out to the instructors, Mrs. Vaughn and Mrs. Love.

Our 8th graders celebrated Red Ribbon Week today with a lesson from Mrs. Briana Spivey of Arrowleaf.
The official theme, "Life is a Puzzle, Solve it Drug Free," really resonated. Not only did they sign a pledge flag, but they're now working on their own slogans to submit to the National Red Ribbon contest for the 2026 theme! Who knows, an idea from our very own 8th grade class could be the next national message!
Thank you, Mrs. Spivey, for making this powerful message an interactive and inspiring experience.
