We invite everyone to join us for our 4th annual Spring Fling and be a part of the Greatest Art Show on Thursday, April 9 from 5 to 8 PM. You can view student art work, attend the Book Fair, purchase circus style food, play circus games, visit the Teen Teachers' reading nook, and even get your face painted if you wish.

The high school softball game vs. Pope County has been postponed today due to weather. The game will now be played on 5/11 @Hardin Co.

This is a reminder that our students in grades 3 through 8 will be participating in IAR (Illinois Assessment of Readiness) testing beginning tomorrow and continuing through Thursday.
These assessments are an important opportunity for students to demonstrate their learning and growth throughout the school year. To help your child do their best, please ensure they:
Get a good night’s sleep each evening
Eat a healthy breakfast
Arrive at school on time
We also encourage students to come to school with a positive mindset and to take their time on each test.

- The postponed HS baseball game from 3/16 has been rescheduled to 4/1 @Herrin (full JV and Varsity game) @4:30pm
- The HS baseball game on Wednesday 3/25 @Harrisburg has been postponed to Wednesday 5/20 @4:30pm
-HS Softball will play @NCOE on 4/30 @4:30pm (this was left off the original schedule)

The following students that will be inducted this year to The National Honors Society (NHS) are Alivia Bishop, Gavin Headlam, Jocee Mills, and Collin Shortland. Returning members will be recognized also. This ceremony will begin promptly at 1:30pm on Thursday, April 16, 2026 in the High School Gymnasium. Mrs. Rachel Kizziah is the sponsor and does a fantastic job sponsoring this nationally recognized organization for our Hardin County students!

To keep our shelves stocked and organized, we need your help! We are currently looking for:
Non-perishable food items (easy meals, snacks, etc.).
If you’re able to donate please reach out to Mrs. Love at klove@hardink12.net or drop off items at the main office. Let’s make sure every Cougar has what they need to succeed!
