A reminder that the Hardin County PTO is sponsoring the Ladies vs Sons Dodgeball tournament for Pre-K through 6th grade tonight at 5 PM in the High School gym. All sons are invited to bring a mother figure for a friendly game of dodgeball. We hope to see you there!

Regional Championship Shirts Update!
If you ordered a regional championship shirt, payment must be turned in by Wednesday April, 29th . Any orders without payment by then will not be included.
Checks can be submitted to the front office and should be made payable to Hardin County Schools.

We would like to invite everyone to attend the 2025-2026 Hardin County Promenade "A Starry Night" at 6pm tonight in the high school gymnasium.
The 🍀4-H Teen Teachers🍀attended their last outing for the year today at the Dixon Springs Ag Center for Stewardship Week. The girls educated youth from area schools on Caves and the boys assisted with the Amphibian and Reptile station. The Teen Teachers enjoyed interacting with the younger students in an outdoor classroom setting.
A few of our 🍀4-H Teen Teachers🍀and Ed Rising students attended 4-H Camp earlier this week. The students participated in team building activities, leadership sessions, outdoor activities, visual arts activities, and took a tour of Allerton Park. This was made possible by 4-H and SIFTC.
On Wednesday, April 22, 2026, the Junior class will be taking the ACT, the Sophomore and Freshman classes will take the PreACT. Please ensure students are present and arrive at Hardin County High School by 8 AM to allow time for breakfast.

The rained-out games at Pope County have been officially rescheduled... again.
🥎 Softball will return to Pope County on May 13 (will pick up from the 2nd inning)

Tomorrow is the 1st Annual Running for Retts 5K. It will take place at the school. Registration begins at 8am and the run/walk starts at 9am. Students who register to run/walk will also receive 10 bonus points in their PE class. There will be a fun run, purple costume contest, silent auction, raffle, shirt sales, barbecue and a bake sale for the seniors. You do not have to register if you are not participating in the run/walk. All proceeds go towards a scholarship for a Hardin County senior, and to the International Rett Syndrome Foundation. This event will be held inside the school, if it's raining. Please come out and support this special event.
